Candy Blue Honda CD200 Cafe Racer

This is a fully re-built Honda CD200 12 Volt 1981.

This bike was completely stripped down so that we could turn it into the stunning Cafe Racer it is today. Using new and our own Cafe Racer parts this bike came into our own little doctors surgery (AKA our workshop!) it was repaired!

The Honda CD200 flew through its MOT and that meant that I just had to take her for a few drives before we sell her own and I had great fun with her! The rebuild consists of a modified frame so that our own Vincent seat would fit on the frame. The frame, swinging arm, wheels, yokes, side stand and many other small brackets and parts were powder-coated.

Meanwhile we put new wheel bearings, headstock bearings, swinging arm, bushes, tyres, chains and sprocket sets on. Fabricated link pipes were made to ft the Megaphone exhaust to the silencers in the upswet fashion. A new wiring loom with all the electrics then found its new home in the hump of the seat which it shared with a new battery. Lots of custom and one off work went into this bike to make it look great including welding the indicator holes up in the headlight brackets and shortening the pillion foot peg mounts to make them into exhaust brackets.

With polished alloy and chrome parts finished off with a beautiful candy blue over metallic silver base and darker silver graphics is what turned this neat little package into a Cafe Racer in its own right!
